The Quest Kermode's are holding their annual Player Identification Camp Saturday April 10th.

Men Down NWIC In Exhibition Play PDF Print E-mail

January 8, 2010 - Men's Basketball

Tyson ComptonSquamish, B.C. - Quest came out strong, scoring the first 12 points to begin the game, with John Pankratz (Brookswood/Langley, B.C.) scoring the Kermodes first 8 points. At the end of the opening quarter, Quest held a 11 point lead.  Northwest Indian College shot well behind the three point line in the first half, sinking 7, but the Kermodes still led 43-34 at the half.

Froberg And Behrns Named BCCAA Athlete Of The Week PDF Print E-mail

Squamish, B.C. – Two Quest basketball players were awarded the BCCAA Athlete of the Week awards today.  Bryce Froberg (Meridian/Bellingham, WA) and Delainee Behrns (Balgonie Greenall/Regina, SK) were named after their performances in the teams 2 game sweep of the Langara College Falcons.

November 21, 2009 – Men’s Basketball

Bryce FrobergSquamish, B.C. – The Quest Men’s Basketball team for the second night in a row was able to withstand a last second shot attempt by the Langara College Falcons to hold on for the win, 61-59.  The win moves the Kermodes back to .500 in league play and extends a program long winning streak to three.

 

For the third game in a row the Kermodes found themselves trailing by a double digit margin midway through the first quarter.  Langara jumped out to a 16-5 lead with just over three minutes left in the frame.  Quest went on a 10-2 run to start the second to knot the score at 23.  Neither team shot the ball well as Langara was 29% in the first including going 1 for 16 in the second quarter.  Quest was not much better shooting just under 35% for the half.

November 20, 2009 - Men's Basketball

Kyle ThorauSquamish, B.C. – The Quest Men’s team survived a terrible start and hung on for a 58-57 win over the Langara College Falcons.  Langara jumped out to a 16-4 lead at the end of the first quarter, and extended the lead to 17 points at 22-5 before Quest fought its way back into the game.

“We have to get out of the habit of starting slow and getting into a hole.”  Commented Head Coach Sean Shook.  “This is the second game in a row we surrendered a quick double digit lead.
