Quest University Canada Men's Basketball Coach Sean Shook announced today that Mukiya Post, a senior guard from Oak Bay Secondary School (Victoria, B.C.), and Brodan Robertson, a sophomore transfer from Capilano University (Carson Graham/North Vancouver, B.C.) have signed letters of intent to play for the Kermode’s in 2009-2010. "We are extremely pleased with the addition of these two talented and exceptional basketball players," said Shook. “With the returning of a decent nucleus of young players this should allow us to compete for a play-off spot in the BCCAA this year.” Post, a 6’3” guard, was a starter for the Oak Bay Bays and helped them to the AAA Provincial Tournament where they finished 6th. Mukiya scored 21 points in a win versus Cowichan Secondary that sent the Bays off to the Provincial Tournament. Post was also named MVP of the prestigious Victoria Police Tournament as well as playing in the B.C. High School All-Star game at UBC this past spring. "Mukiya is a gifted athlete who possesses great skills," Shook said. "He brings a level of excitement to the program that is contagious. We are pleased to have a player of his caliber join our program and look forward to his college career." Robertson, a 6’4” forward, is transferring after playing 2 years at Capilano University. Brodan played his high school basketball at Carson Graham Secondary in North Vancouver.
