Kermodes Kick Off Season With Success PDF Print E-mail

Squamish B.C.- The men's team had a successful debut with a 1-1 draw with Vancouver Island University.  The women only surrendered one goal in their match but weren't able to find a way onto the scoresheet.  Both teams continue a short homestand to start the season next weekend with games Saturday and Sunday at the Q.  Kyle Logan (Okanagan Mission/Kelowna B.C.) netted the first ever goal for Quest in BCCAA competition.

On Saturday, UBC-Okanagan comes in after playing host to Langara and Capilano in the first weekend.  The UBC-O men got a 2-0 win over Langara and earned a 1-1 draw with the defending CCAA National Champion Blues, 1-1 Sunday.  The Heat women dropped both of their contests over the weekend. 

Thompson Rivers University makes the trip to Squamish for the first time on Sunday.  The Wolfpack men beat Langara 4-0 on Saturday and played to a 2-2 tie with Capilano on Sunday.  The Wolfpack women split their weekend games falling to Langara 1-0 on Saturday and turning around Sunday to beat the Blues 4-0. 

Saturday's games kick off at 1:00PM for the women with men to follow at 3:00.  Sunday the action gets started with the women's contest at Noon and the men at 2:00PM.
