October 5, 2009 -Men's Soccer
After a 2-0 loss against Kwantlen, the men geared up for Sunday’s game with higher expectations. An intense 90 minutes was played against Douglas College, with two identical goals scored by Dustin and Davis Wallington (Riverside/Port Coquitlam B.C.). Jonathan Friedman (Britannia/Vancouver B.C.) and Kyle Logan (Okanagan Mission/Kelowna B.C.) set up the crosses for the twins, who easily finished. Despite their finishing skills, the Kermodes were unable to secure a lead, and ended the game in a 2-2 draw. Next Weekend the Men travel to the Island to take on the VIU Mariners. Quest and VIU met in the first week of the season and ended in a 1-1 draw. Currently, the Mariners sit second in their pool with 15 points. The Douglas men beat VIU on Saturday 2-0. |

Vancouver, BC. – The Quest’s Men’s team travelled to the lower mainland this weekend for games with Kwantlen Polytechnic University and Douglas College. They struggled Saturday without the help of defender Kyle Logan (Okanagan Mission/Kelowna B.C.), as well as head coach Adam Day (2nd Year), who both missed the game as a result of league violations.
