Quest University Canada head men's soccer coach Adam Day announced today that Brad Klees, a senior mid-fielder from Squalicum High School (Bellingham, WA), has signed a letter of intent to play for the Kermodes this fall. “I expect Brad to make an immediate impact with the team / squad this year. He is a very hard working player who does possess an eye for goal and I think those two attributes together are hard to find at times.” commented Day. “We are expecting him to fit in very easily having already played with the team in the Squamish Soccer Fest in April and he showed in that tournament what he will bring to the program next year with his energy, work rate and goals. He is versatile all over the midfield and we will be expecting him to contribute straight away. Brad is a very solid recruit who will be an important player for us over the next 4 years.” Klees, a Canadian Citizen, grew up in Calgary, Alberta, where he started playing soccer at 4. After moving to Bellingham, Washington he played for the WFC Rangers as well as at Squalicum High School. Brad was recently selected to the Northwest Conference First Team as a midfielder, where he helped lead the Storm to the AA State Championship. "I am beyond excited to be heading to Quest University this fall. I have had the opportunity to visit the school on a few occasions and play with the team already including the Squamish Soccer Fest in April. The team was great, there is a ton of talent here already, and the boys that Adam has recruited for next year are solid."
