Fresh Talent Joins Experience PDF Print E-mail

lyndsayeppIt looks to be a season of firsts for the Quest women’s soccer team.  Entering its third year of play and second in the league, the obvious ambition is to win games.  But with two full-time coaches on staff and nine first year soccer players, coach Martina Franko is being spoiled for choice for the first time in the program’s history.
 “I think this season the huge difference is we are going to have a lot of depth on the team,” said Franko, fresh off a summer season captaining the USL W-League finalists, the Vancouver Whitecaps.  “So once we get our new players up to speed and on the same page as the returning players, I think we are going to have a very dangerous team.”

Menz, Women's Soccer Receive BCCAA Hounours PDF Print E-mail

ForsbergSquamish, B.C. -  Quest University’s first post-season athletic awards were won today by Lucas Menz (Handsworth/North Vancouver B.C.) and the entire Women’s team.  Menz, the first year goalkeeper was voted to the BCCAA 2nd Team while the Women’s team received the Mike Bartram Fair Play Award.

Vancouver, BC. – The Quest women’s soccer team met their match this weekend after playing two close games away from home. The Kermodes ended Saturday’s game in a 1-0 loss against Kwantlen, who scored in the last 20 minutes of the game.
